Dewmocracy theme


Mountain Dew

Working in conjunction with the folks over at Gamespy, we designed two different App Skin designs which were released in conjunction with their Dewmocracy flavor contest and Green Label Art promotion.

Dewmocracy

When Mountain Dew launched their Dewmocracy campaign, it wasn't a big leap to connect the dots between the most caffeinated drink on the market and hardcore gamers. We worked with GameSpy to create a Dewmocracy theme for their Comrade messaging system to extend Mountain Dew's campaign and reach their target audience where they live. The design captured the futuristic feel of the Dewmocracy promotional ads and included exclusive Dewmocracy avatars.

Green Label Art

The limited edition of Mountain Dew's Green Label Art series featured striking, original artwork. We worked with Mountain Dew and GameSpy in the creation of the exclusive App skin and featured custom avatars. Featuring the artwork of Haze for the skin design, we retooled the Comrade application in the same way Mountain Dew reskinned their soda to feature these amazing artists.

PSB Imports

PSB Imports is growing from an industry only provider of interior design accents to include consumer product sales. With no logo, no branding, and no online presence, PSB Imports came to International Front to help them with their marketing efforts.

We started by building a branding architecture that identified their existing, primary, and secondary brand communications. We then identified the customer markets which PSB Imports was targeting and created customer profiles for each. Identifying their key motivations and concerns helped to direct our creation of a map of PSB Imports brand offerings and identify qualities associated with each offering.

Finally we viewed each of these brand attributes and identified how PSB Imports' competition fit in relation to these offerings. With this information we identified four core branding concepts for PSB Imports to choose from.

After identifying the voice and offerings of PSB Imports' brand, we went to the drawing board and created logo options for them to choose from which fit within the brand.

Following logo selection, we were able to begin hammering out the user interface and design of the PSB Imports website. Working with PSB Imports we solidified the brand message and tone, and we used this to create a handsome and clean website. Our work on the website included design, product photography, and copy writing. The shopping cart was designed to offer shopping solutions for product resellers, interior designers, and consumers.

Uplift Advertising

Uplift, one of the fastest growing companies in the search advertising industry came to us with a unique challenge. Uplift's communication challenge was to introduce a cohesive brand platform that would encompass their current brands (Uplift Advertising, Uplift Parking, Uplift Exchange, Uplift Search) while being flexible enough to grow as their business expands into new markets. The task was further complicated as their different businesses spanned B2B and B2C audiences.

Our proposed solution creates a strong synergy between their different identities, with each well differentiated within the whole. We worked with Uplift to create a logo set that communicated the connectivity of their product offering and allowed for flexibility to pursue business opportunities as a multifaceted network or as smaller individual products.

Along with the rebranding effort, we created two of Uplift's websites (UpliftExchange and UpliftParking) which frequently serve as the initial and primary contact with their customer base. We started with a formal study of the market Uplift is competing in. We built a profile of the prospective customer, outlining what their needs are and what information they are searching for. With indepth customer information on hand, we were able to create website copy targeted to their needs.

We then translated the website copy into highly impactful visual elements that communicate the advantages of the Uplift properties. Key points and advantages of Uplift's services are highlighted and guide customers toward the sign-up process.

The end result is two co-branded websites with straight forward interfaces that dramatically increased Uplift's online sign up rate. We are the chosen design house for Uplift's future properties and we look forward to bringing their other properties under the Uplift umbrella when we tackle their remaining site designs.
